I founded P.E.A.R.L.S. of Compassion to advocate for marginalized individuals by providing access to healthcare, FMLA, workers' compensation, social services, and community advocacy, empowering them to make informed decisions.

I am a retired Trust Administrator Assistant with a distinguished background in retirement account servicing, nonprofit outreach, and grassroots activism from pioneering programs like Oakland’s Free Breakfast for Children to national advocacy through Project Lead and the National Breast Cancer Coalition. After surviving two cancer diagnoses, I turned personal healing into public action, lobbying in Congress, influencing health policy, and participating in global forums like the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium. Now residing in Georgia’s CSRA, I continue to serve through leadership on cultural, historical, and redevelopment boards, driven by a lifelong mission to uplift communities and amplify unheard voices.
As a Texas native, I relocated to Los Angeles and have spent the past 24 years providing administrative support to the Los Angeles Unified School District. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on HR and Management from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and I am a certified notary currently pursuing a certification in Massage Therapy. Serving on the Board of P.E.A.R.L.S. of Compassion, I bring a deep devotion to helping others, inspired by my experience caring for my mother during the final years of her life, and I value how the organization supports individuals in preparing for and navigating life's most challenging moments.
